My AC went out the end of July. I contacted AHS on August 1, they contacted a local AC company and a technician arrived on August 6. Said the unit was fixed, on August 9 I contacted the local company and said the AC was still not working. Another technician came out and said the control panel was malfunctioning. This company had the necessary part, but needed AHS okay to install it. The technician contacted AHS who told him they would mail the necessary part. It’s now September 18, the unit is not fixed. It is a AC/Heater unit – we went through blazing days of smoky heat with no relief, I called and was told the part was ordered and on it’s way 10 days out. Then the middle of August I was told 10 days out. I contacted AHS, I was given the run around by a person from the Philippians, no resolution. I called again after September 1 and was told the part was ordered – I wrote letters to corporate and then I got a message from Darika Dennis: Good afternoon Jenny, Thank you for your response. I just spoke with Aspen at ACI and the parts have been ordered. The ETA is next week, 9/23 and once they receive the parts, they will give you a call directly to schedule an appointment to complete the repairs. Sincerely, Darika Dennis | Executive Relations 1524 Highway 30 East | Carroll, IA 51401 Phone: 866-366-1533 Ext. 640 E: [email protected] So this is now the 4th time I’ve been told 10 days out. I have waited 48 days It is getting cold, my husband has dementia and doesn’t understand why things aren’t working properly. I have called and called and written letters and now I am filing complaints.
